100% Pinot Noir
Vineyard planted in 1939 on a brown clay and limestone soil, of average granulosity. Due to its age, the vineyard produces small clusters very concentrated in aromas and in colors.
Cold maceration under protection of carbon dioxide to protect the precursors of aromas and the colors. Fermentation in tank with managed temperature. Punching of the cap and pumping-over during the vatting time (35 to 40 days). Soft and delicate pneumatic pressing. Maturing 100 % in oak barrels during 16 months. Tangential filtration.
Vermilion red, clear and brilliant.
Ample and generous, spices.
Ripe and silky tannins, perfect harmony between the wine and the wood, length and well-balanced.
